Nursing Care Specialist

Job Summary
Bethesda Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Nursing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for our geriatric residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the basic nursing care needs of our residents and develop individualized care plans.
- Implement and evaluate nursing care, ensuring adherence to established Standards of Nursing Practices and organizational policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and excellent patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to residents and their families on health-related topics.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and services provided.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse degree.
- Preferably experienced in long-term care, rehab, or assisted living.
- Current LPN or RN license in the respective state.
- IV Certification or willingness to obtain within six months of hire.
- Current CPR/AED Certification or willingness to obtain within six months of hire.
- Excellent communication, time management, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
