The Admission Recruiter position at Albright College is a dynamic opportunity to represent the institution in conducting recruitment travel outreach and supporting the college's recruitment goals.
This role requires a highly motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively market the college to prospective students, parents, and school counselors.
The Admission Recruiter will participate in recruitment travel, attending college fairs, visiting high schools, and other programs in designated regions. They will also build relationships with prospective students, parents, and school counselors through correspondence and develop a thorough understanding of Albright College's academic, athletic, and experiential offerings.
Essential Job Functions:
- Recruitment Travel: Attend college fairs, visit high schools, and other programs in designated regions, with evening, overnight, and weekend availability required.
- Public Speaking: Effectively communicate with small and large audiences with a high level of confidence and effectiveness.
- Academic Understanding: Have a thorough and well-versed understanding of Albright College's academic, athletic, and experiential offerings and curriculum.
- Relationship Building: Build relationships with prospective students, parents, and school counselors met during recruitment travel through correspondence.
- Expense Reporting: Create expense reports to track expenditures made during travel season.
- Application Review: Read applications for students from assigned travel territory.
Qualifications/Prerequisites:
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, written, oral communication, and organizational skills.
- Skills: Diligence to work remotely and autonomously, interest and empathy to interact with diverse groups, detail-oriented with good planning skills, and ability to carry/pull admission materials up to 30 pounds.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of related experience.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required.
- Licenses: Possess a valid driver's license.
