Busser Job Description

Saltwater Social is seeking a skilled Busser to join our team. As a Busser, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare beverages to maintain quality standards consistently.
  • Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift.
  • Promptly greet guests and bring water to the table.
  • Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for the next course.
  • Clean table tops, chairs, and booths between seatings.
  • Check the floor and clean as required. Reset and arrange tabletop.
  • Clear tables after guests and take tableware to the dish room.
  • Inspect assigned restrooms every 30 minutes and clean as needed.
  • Respond to guest requests and communicate with servers and hostesses to ensure efficient seating and customer service.
  • Assist servers with food delivery, especially during peak periods.
  • Thank guests as they leave.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work on your feet for long periods.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs.
  • Ability to carry trays and stack plates.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • No consumption of alcoholic beverages while working.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
