Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels
- Enforce safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe learning environment
- Conduct thorough pool area inspections before and after each class to maintain a clean and well-maintained facility
- Evaluate student progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in cross-training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
- Represent Goldfish Swim School - Houston as a positive ambassador, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for students, families, and team members
- Ability to work effectively with children and families
- Previous experience in leadership and teaching roles, preferably in a related field (e.g. lifeguarding, youth sports instruction, childcare)
- Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills to address challenges and provide innovative solutions
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to pass background checks and maintain required certifications (e.g. lifeguard, CPR/AED, First Aid)
