Equipment Maintenance and Fabrication Specialist Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance and Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Custom Paper Tubes in Valley View, OH.

This full-time position offers an estimated annual salary of $47,760.00, with opportunities for performance-based increases.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading production equipment and tooling using mechanical and electrical skills.

Fabrication of custom tooling or parts using lathe and milling skills is also a key responsibility.

Keeping an accurate inventory of materials and researching ordering parts when necessary is also important.

  • Monitor and maintain facilities and machine performance through preventative maintenance duties.
  • Provide technical support for equipment-related issues.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance or machine building is essential.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, and indicators).
  • Strong math skills, with the ability to reverse engineer from a sample part, read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
  • Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, including AC/DC motors and control panels.
  • Effectively and safely operating manual lathe, mill, and other equipment/tools.
