Key Responsibilities

As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Delivering exemplary care tailored to individual outcome plans
  • Assisting clients with daily living tasks to foster positive life outcomes
  • Encouraging participation in leisure and social activities to enhance quality of life
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure high standards of care and support
  • Complying with the standards set by the Scottish Social Services Council Codes of Practice and Hillcrest Futures Policies

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to assist Service Users with tasks such as meal preparation, household chores, financial management, and attending appointments
  • Excellent organizational skills and punctuality
  • Demonstrated transferable skills relevant to the care sector
  • Willingness to pursue necessary qualifications for SSSC registration, including SVQ level 2
  • Commitment to obtaining registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within the designated timeframe
  • Valid driving license and willingness to transport individuals for outings and errands
