Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock shelves and rotate items as necessary, maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing store environment.
  • Bring in carts from the parking lot, ensuring a clean and safe shopping experience for customers.
  • Maintain a neat and organized till area, adhering to company standards and expectations.
  • Fill bag stations and stock registers with needed supplies, ensuring a smooth and efficient shopping experience.
  • Pick up trash from the parking lot, contributing to a clean and safe environment.
  • Follow security procedures, maintaining the integrity and security of the store.
  • Perform night maintenance duties as directed, ensuring the store is secure and well-maintained.
  • Adhere to company policy and local/state law on the sale of alcohol and tobacco products, maintaining a high level of integrity and compliance.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to teamwork.

Work Environment:

  • May be exposed to various weather conditions, including hot, cold, rain, snow, ice, and wind, as well as indoor work with variations in temperature, dust, and humidity.
  • Work in a fast-paced retail environment, requiring adaptability and a high level of energy.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently moves, lifts, and carries merchandise and supplies weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance, and occasionally moves, lifts, and carries merchandise and supplies weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds.
  • Occasionally reaches overhead and below the knees, including pushing, pulling, squatting, kneeling, bending, stooping, crouching, and twisting with or without bearing weight.
  • Stands or walks continuously throughout the shift, requiring a high level of stamina and endurance.

Qualifications & Other Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a retail or grocery environment is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Minimum age requirement is 16 years old.
