Ambe Healthcare Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients, identify their needs, and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and intravenous therapy in accordance with physician orders, protocols, and policies.
- Patient Education: Provide patients and their families with education and support to promote health and wellness.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document patient information and report critical findings to the healthcare team in a timely manner.
- Education: Associate's degree in nursing (ASN) or Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required; Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
- License: Current RN license in the state of Massachusetts required.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 60 days of hire; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within six months of hire.
- Experience: Three to five years of experience in the Emergency Department preferred.
The physical demands of this position include exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. The position also requires frequent reaching, handling, and feeling, as well as occasional stooping and kneeling.
Work ScheduleThis is a 36-hour per week position, working 7 pm to 7 am shifts.
State License DetailsThis position requires a current and active RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
