Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at the Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting and handling blood specimens, ensuring the safety of volunteers, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and handle blood specimens for diagnostic and tracking purposes.
- Prepare lab tube requirements and associated paperwork for next-day visits.
- Provide written monthly updates on laboratory, freezer storage, and phlebotomy operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Phlebotomy Technician program and passing a national PBT certification exam.
- IATA Certification.
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and tasks.
Clearance and Citizenship:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be able to pass a NACI for Common Access Card.
