- Collaborate with Care Teams: Work closely with DispatchHealth Medical Technicians (DHMTs) and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Deliver Advanced Medical Care: Perform minor procedures, administer medications, and provide wound care and other therapeutic interventions as needed.
- Document Patient Encounters: Accurately and thoroughly document patient interactions, including diagnoses, treatments, and outcomes, to ensure continuity of care and quality improvement.
- Communicate Effectively: Educate patients and families on health management and wellness, and facilitate open communication with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
- Lead by Example: Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and cultural competence in all interactions, and promote a positive, respectful work environment.
- Advanced Degree: Possess a graduate degree from an accredited institution in nursing or a related field.
- Current Licensure: Hold an active, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice.
- National Certification: Be nationally board certified as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Prescriptive Authority: Possess prescriptive authority and a DEA license.
- Driver's License: Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical Demands: Be able to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds, and walk up and down stairs easily.
