We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at PeaceHealth. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs in the Operating Room setting.
- Provide direct patient care in compliance with professional practice and unit standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote positive patient outcomes and a safe work environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of hospital policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience as an OR Staff RN.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support certification upon hire.
- ACLS certification at date of hire.
- PALS certification according to Resuscitation Training Completion Requirements policy.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Specialty certification in a relevant area of nursing.
This role requires the ability to lift up to 35 pounds without the use of assistive equipment and/or devices. Fine motor skills are necessary to grasp and control medical equipment and perform precise procedures. The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
