We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist for a travel opportunity in Yerington, Nevada.
About the JobThe successful candidate will work as a CT Technologist, responsible for conducting diagnostic imaging procedures and providing high-quality patient care. This 13-week contract offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience and expand your professional network.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct computed tomography (CT) scans to produce detailed images of the body's internal structures.
- Position patients comfortably and safely on the examination table, ensuring proper alignment and comfort during the scanning process.
- Adjust scanning parameters and protocols according to individual patient needs and medical guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiologic Sciences (RT(R)) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in CT scanning with a strong understanding of imaging protocols and radiation safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
