Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. As a Clinical Therapist, you will provide a wide range of psychosocial evaluation/assessment, diagnostic, counseling therapy, crisis intervention, and/or case management services in a high-intensity clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide counseling, therapy, and/or psychotherapy to clients and families as appropriate to the position
  • Prepare treatment plans, discharge plans, and follow-up care programs
  • Consult with other therapists and related professional and paraprofessional staff, as appropriate, in the performance of therapeutic and/or casework
  • Provide and/or arrange for therapeutic interventions to include but not limited to emergency services and crisis intervention for individuals with serious emotional or behavioral disturbances
  • Refer clients to appropriate social service agencies for financial assistance and other required services
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in a related field
  • 3 years directly related experience
  • Documented experience in age-appropriate environment
  • LPCC/CMHC or LCSW or LMFT in New Mexico
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a fast-paced clinical environment with a high degree of independent decision-making and program administration. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
