Job Summary:

PruittHealth is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Assistant to provide cleaning services to ensure a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and the public. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of patient/resident rooms, common areas, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, as well as dusting and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Empty trash and recyclables, and replace liners as needed.
  • Clean bathroom sinks, toilets, and showers, following infection control standards.
  • Dust and clean glass surfaces, such as mirrors and windows.
  • Move furniture to clean behind and underneath, and turn bed mattresses after cleaning.

Requirements:

  • No prior experience required, as on-the-job training is provided.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in healthcare housekeeping or environmental services is a plus.
