Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our dynamic Neurology team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the overall success of our Neurology department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive Neurological Assessments: Perform thorough neurological assessments, including patient history, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose and treat various neurological conditions, collaborating with Neurologists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Patient Care Planning: Develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring optimal outcomes and continuity of care.
  • Diagnostic Testing: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as MRI, CT scans, and EEGs, to aid in accurate diagnoses.
  • Patient Education: Provide patient education on neurological conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with Neurology team members to enhance patient care and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Licensure: Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Certification: Certification from an accredited professional organization.
  • Specialization: Specialization or experience in Neurology preferred.

  • Clinical Skills: Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and treating neurological conditions.
