About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused professional to join our HMSA team as a Health Plan Operations Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service and support to our members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service and Support
  1. Deliver a positive and personalized experience for our customers, exceeding their expectations in every interaction.
  2. Analyze customer needs and propose tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  3. Communicate HMSA's brand message and commitment to service excellence through every customer interaction.
Greeting and Welcome
  1. Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
  2. Provide a friendly greeting to customers entering and thank them as they leave the HMSA Center.
Training and Development
  1. Meet ongoing training requirements to stay current on product and service knowledge.
  2. Assist customers in using self-service tools, such as the self-service kiosk or payment center.
Standards and Compliance
  1. Comply with operational standards, federal, state, and HMSA compliance requirements.
  2. Contribute to corporate policies, processes, and procedures, marketing collateral, and campaigns.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of HMSA's products and services.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and propose solutions.
Benefits and Compensation:

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $52,000 - $72,000 per year, based on location and experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
