We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Teacher Aide to join our ECE department. This exciting opportunity allows you to work closely with our experienced instructional leaders and teaching teams to create engaging and stimulating learning environments for our students.
Job SummaryThis non-exempt position involves assisting teaching teams in all daily classroom routines and procedures to provide developmentally appropriate care and education for children. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities- Safety and Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, adhering to CRT's supervision policies and procedures.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment, ensuring compliance with CACFP guidelines and regulations.
- Educational Program: Collaborate with teaching teams to develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum, adhering to CRT's policies and procedures.
- Family and Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with families and engage them in their child's learning experience, recognizing and celebrating cultural diversity.
- Education: High school diploma or GED, minimum 6 ECE credits, and CT Charts a Course Ladder Level 5 required.
- Experience: One year of experience working with children in a state-licensed program preferred.
- Certifications: First Aid for Children, CPR Certification, and Administration of Medication preferred.
