Dental Hygiene Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Dental Care at Little River. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional oral health care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide thorough and compassionate dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and patient education.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, understanding their unique needs and concerns.
- Collaborate with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies, participating in ongoing education and training opportunities.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Current dental hygienist license in South Carolina and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation.
- CPR Certification.
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
