We are seeking qualified candidates for part-time lecturer positions in the Department of Media Arts, Sciences, and Studies.



Job Description

Overview:

The successful candidate will teach introductory courses in photography, filmmaking, screen studies, and writing for screen media.


This position offers an opportunity to work with talented students and faculty in a dynamic liberal arts environment.



Schedule and Salary:

This is a part-time position with a hiring rate of $50 per credit hour.


Candidates should be prepared to teach on a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends.



Required Qualifications:

  • A terminal degree or equivalent in a film or television-related area of media production
  • Successful college teaching experience and a commitment to professional preparation within an interdisciplinary context
  • Experience in postproduction, animation, experimental cinema, cinematography, directing, sound design, audio mixing, editing, and lighting
