Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to join our team at Golden West Packaging Group. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in leading daily activities of the shipping and Scheduling departments, ensuring customer requirements and organization goals are achieved.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, sales support, or production planning, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop packaging concepts, supporting the package development process, and communicating effectively with customers, co-workers, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop packaging concepts and support the package development process.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and suppliers to ensure a positive and professional culture.
  • Assume responsibility for leading projects, controlling timelines, documentation, communication, and quality.
  • Review inventory levels for inventory accounts and troubleshoot production issues.
Requirements
  • Ability to understand customer needs and provide solutions.
  • Work with supervisor to balance needs of total team.
  • Answer customer or supplier questions to keep projects on track.
  • Be proactive to troubleshoot problems or obstacles to success.
  • Proficient working knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to understand material and design specs, manufacturing processes, and logistics flow as needed.
  • Detail oriented, excels at multi-tasking, and thrives under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive mindset that welcomes challenges, appreciates constructive coaching, and takes personal pride in being the first one to find better solutions.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years working experience in a project management, sales support, or production planning role.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin required (read, write, speak).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage overseas manufacturing resources.
  • Willingness and authorized to travel to Asia when needed.
