We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Medicine Specialty Unit (6RC) at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. As a key member of our Medical Surgical Services division, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care.

In this role, you will assess patients' nursing care needs, develop patient care plans, and implement interventions to attain expected outcomes. You will also collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate continuum of care and ensure seamless transitions for patients.

A competitive salary of $60,000 minimum at 100% effort, plus shift differentials and premium pay for additional shifts, is offered for this position. Benefits include paid vacation, sick leave, health, dental, life, and disability insurance options, as well as generous employer contributions into retirement plans.

Candidates must have an Associate's Degree in Nursing, a Diploma in Nursing, or a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, and a current license to practice nursing in Iowa. A Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or active enrollment in a BSN program is preferred.
