Breast Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Breast Surgeon to join our team at Ascension Health Illinois. As a key member of our breast health program, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with breast cancer and other breast-related conditions.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and diagnose patients with breast abnormalities through clinical examination, imaging studies, and biopsy procedures.
- Perform surgical procedures related to the diagnosis and treatment of breast conditions, including lumpectomy, mastectomy, lymph node dissection, and breast reconstruction.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients undergoing breast surgery, including counseling, education, and follow-up appointments.
- Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery and Breast Surgery.
- Fellowship training in Breast Surgical Oncology.
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
