Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and implement comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of elderly patients.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of services within the Adult Day Program and Senior In-Home Services Program, promoting high-quality eldercare.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and departmental policies.
  • Engage with patients and their families to educate and support them in managing health conditions, making lifestyle adjustments, and accessing community resources.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing as a Registered Nurse.
  • Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience, with at least one (1) of those years in an acute care or skilled nursing facility.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Alaska.
  • Alaska state driver's license and insured personal vehicle required.
Working Conditions

The Staff Nurse will work primarily off-campus in the community, requiring a high level of ability to communicate effectively with managers, team members, and patients.

Environment

The Staff Nurse will work in a variety of settings, including client homes, the Adult Day program location, and other community locations as outlined by program needs.
