Main Responsibilities:
  • Configuring and maintaining a productive work area
  • Confirming material receipt against work orders to avoid discrepancies
  • Executing accurate measurements, cuts, and strip-offs of fiber cables
  • Terminating fibers to connectors using precise application of epoxy
  • Heating and curing connections for consistent outcomes
  • Crimping, polishing (hand and/or machine)
  • Ongoing optical testing to maintain quality benchmarks
  • Completing products through heat shrinkage, labeling, and packaging
Primary Requirements:
  • Completion of high school or equivalent
  • Strong proficiency in reading and writing English
  • Capacity to comprehend engineering drawings, work orders, and written guidelines
  • Exceptional hand-eye coordination, steady hands, clear vision, concentration, and patience
  • Desirable yet not mandatory: prior experience in fiber optic cable terminations and assemblies
