Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled LabVIEW Software Engineer to join our team at 804 Technology. This role requires a dedicated professional who can develop and implement LabVIEW software solutions tailored for data acquisition and control systems.

Key Qualifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certification as a LabVIEW Developer is essential.
  • Experience with Matlab is required.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Certification as a LabVIEW Associate Developer, along with familiarity with various NI applications.
  • Proven experience in real-time high-speed data acquisition and control systems.
  • Knowledge of multiple chassis synchronization techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft C# programming within the Microsoft Visual Studio .NET environment.
  • Experience in Microsoft SQL Server database development and administration.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
  • Comfortable with concepts such as:
    • Parallel loops
    • TCP/IP protocols
    • Object-oriented programming
    • Message handling
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop LabVIEW software to enhance data acquisition and control systems used for testing aircraft gearboxes.
  • Work closely with instrumentation engineers and technicians to design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot data acquisition systems.
  • Primarily support the Drive Systems Test Lab, with potential involvement in other testing facilities as needed.
  • Provide regular and accurate updates on project status.
