Position Overview

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 Base plus Bonus

We are looking for a Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the Quality Department for the manufacturing facility.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with product specifications.
  • Monitor and drive quality-related performance metrics within the plant.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to Quality Engineers and staff on critical quality initiatives.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) efforts for quality enhancement projects.
  • Act as the primary problem solver for significant internal and external corrective actions.
  • Manage essential quality processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Utilize Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) methodologies.
  • Conduct daily quality audits throughout the manufacturing facility.
  • Ensure that incoming quality from suppliers is adequately assessed and corrective actions are taken when necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business is preferred; an MBA or Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience with ISO implementation and maintenance is essential.
  • Green Belt certification or higher is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Improvement tools related to quality, including FMEA, PPAP, and Six Sigma.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent interpersonal abilities with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Certification as a Quality Auditor or Quality Engineer is advantageous.
