Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional patient care and achieve good outcomes.
  • Evaluate new patients, develop plans of care, and treat patients to achieve measurable, functional goals.
  • Educate patients on treatment options and home exercises to complement their clinical sessions.
  • Supervise aides and ensure proper setup and cleanup duties.
  • Monitor and re-evaluate patient progress, revising plans of care and resetting goals as needed.
  • Address pain management and utilize techniques to reduce pain and increase functions and everyday activities.
  • Determine when to discharge patients and teach them proper mechanics, ergonomics, and strategies to reduce future incidents.
  • Write timely and accurate documentation, including evaluations, re-evaluations, discharges, and daily progress notes.
  • Achieve a reasonable level of productivity and participate in research studies and protocol development.
  • Give input on policies, procedures, and strategy to ensure high-quality care.
  • Handle patient feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Responsible for continuing to develop skills by staying updated in the latest research and techniques.

Qualifications

  • Doctorate or Master's in Physical Therapy
  • Valid Physical Therapy License
