Job DescriptionThe primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that products meet quality standards by conducting thorough inspections and documenting results accurately.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect products using standard tools (calipers, micrometers, height gage, etc.)
- Read and understand industrial specifications (ISO9001, AS9100, military specs, industry specs)
- Perform First Piece Inspections, First Article Inspections, Receiving Inspections, Final Inspections, and Work-in-Process Inspections
- Complete accurate first article packages for submission to Engineering and Quality personnel
- Segregate nonconforming material according to procedures
- Maintain inspection equipment calibration and control
- Work safely and maintain a clean work environment
- Key Skills:
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to stay focused
- Ability to read and follow company processes, policies, and procedures
- Basic math and computer functions knowledge
