Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our team at Saxon Global. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing full life-cycle development for JAVA/J2EE WEB applications using RAD in an IBM WebSphere environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain high-quality Java/J2EE applications using RAD in an IBM WebSphere environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and support corporate card banking systems.
  • Design and implement web-related applications to support the company's internet/intranet strategy.
  • Develop and maintain strong interaction and communication with business lines.
  • Ensure strong understanding of O-O principles and design patterns.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE, SQL, and JDBC development.
  • 5+ years of experience in OOAD, knowledge of JUnit, frameworks, and full life-cycle system development.
  • Experience with Java, Servlet, J2EE, and understanding of linking to back-end applications.
  • Strong interaction and communication with business lines.
  • Strong understanding of O-O principles and design patterns.
Preferred Skills:
  • Java, J2EE, Struts, DB2, SQL, UML Hibernate, JUnit.
Working Conditions:

This is a 12-month contract position with potential to extend or convert. The ideal candidate will be willing to work onsite 3 days a week and live in Colorado.
