Job Summary

The successful candidate will plan and implement medically prescribed recreational therapy programs for patients based on their diagnosis, acuity, level of function, and cognition, supporting optimum patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth evaluations of patients using various assessment tools to identify their cognitive, social, emotional, and motor function for leisure/recreation participation.
  • Implement treatment programs primarily through the use of leisure education and skills, adaptive leisure equipment, and activity analysis.

Requirements

  • BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree (Required)
  • Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) - Certification - National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC)
