About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative entry-level engineer with experience or interest in transportation engineering and bridges to work on challenging projects including bridges, retaining walls, dams, storm and traffic structures, inspections rehabilitations, load ratings, and assisting with construction engineering services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide basic project design through CAD drafting
  • Perform research and write technical reports
  • Travel to job sites for observation, as needed
Requirements
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with structural emphasis or closely related field
  • Master's degree, or in pursuit, a plus
  • Ability to obtain Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certificate within 18 months of employment by passing the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
  • 0-4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with MicroStation and AutoCAD Civil 3D, a plus
