Samaritan Physicians seeks a highly skilled Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician to join our team in Watertown, New York.

About the Role:

• Employee of Samaritan Medical Center, a 290-bed not-for-profit hospital located in Watertown, New York
• Join an un-opposed well-established group of five Pulmonary/Critical Care Board Certified physicians; exclusive subspecialty focused
• Rotational: 1:4 weekly call, hospital rounding and management of 10-bed ICU
• Catchment population: 250,000
• Serving the military men and women from nearby Fort Drum, home to the 10th Mountain Army Division
• Video/navigational ultrasound bronchoscopy with cytopathology
• Certified Sleep Lab
• Cardiopulmonary stress lab
• Well-established lung cancer screening program
• Hospital based newly constructed comprehensive cancer center
• Teaching opportunities are extended with accredited ACGME/AOA family medicine and internal medicine residency training programs

Requirements:

• Board Certification Subspecialty Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care (or actively engaged in process)
• Certification in Sleep Medicine is a plus, but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Appreciation for Patient Centered Care
• Ability to work within Team
