Job Title: Room Attendant

At Holiday Inn & Suites Atlanta, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. As a Room Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Responsibilities:
  • Stock and maintain housekeeping carts with cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
  • Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming.
  • Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and other guest amenities as needed.
  • Clean designated areas, including restrooms, public spaces, offices, and meeting rooms.
  • Report any missing articles, damage, or mechanical issues to management or supervisors.
  • Respond to guest requests and report any issues or complaints in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Turn in and log any guest property left in rooms or public spaces.
  • Attend pre-shift meetings to learn assignments and tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry operations and procedures.
  • Understanding of proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals.
  • General knowledge of equipment such as vacuums, commercial washers, and dryers.
  • Ability to understand and speak some English.
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments.
  • Demonstrate genuine care for customers and employees.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
