The Position
We are seeking a highly motivated Residence Hall Coordinator to join our Student Affairs team. In this role, you will contribute to the creation of inclusive living-learning environments, supervise Resident Assistants, and oversee the daily operations of multiple residential buildings.
- Residential Operations: Oversee the daily operations of multiple residential buildings, ensuring a safe and inclusive living environment.
- Program Development: Design and implement educational programs that align with our department's mission and values.
- Leadership and Development: Supervise, mentor, and professionally develop Resident Assistants to help them grow as leaders and role models within the community.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with colleagues across departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education, or a related field.
- Two years of experience in residence life, housing, or a related field working with college-age students.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
