Job Description for Cadence Associate Systems Analyst

Welcome to WVU Medicine, where we're excited to have you consider an opportunity with us. As a Cadence Associate Systems Analyst, you'll play a vital role in designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining new and legacy systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in analyzing system issues and workflows, and engage in research and data gathering with clients and team members.
  • Assist in modifying system requests as assigned, and implement system modifications as directed.
  • Engage in expanding knowledge of existing user workflows, and assist in performing functional and integrated testing for basic workflows.
  • Assist in applying user security under the guidance of a higher-level analyst, and maintain an understanding of supported applications.
  • Assist in importing/exporting data, and using application-specific tools to create reports.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, computer science, business, or informatics-related field, or four years' experience working with business, clinical, or administrative applications.
  • Additional certification in support of the position's responsibilities may be required, which will be provided by WVU Medicine's Information Technology department.
  • Internal employees must meet all mandatory competencies in their current position to qualify for promotion within IT.
  • West Virginia state and Federal criminal background check required for DHHR WV CARES regulated area.

Working Environment:

  • Standard office environment with frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and grasping.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
  • Ability to work well under high-stress conditions.
  • Ability to work independently or cooperatively as a team member.
  • Ability to adapt to various workloads and assignments.
  • Ability to work with multi-disciplinary groups.

Physical Requirements:
