Job Title: Recreational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Recreational Therapist to join our team at a facility in California. As a Recreational Therapist, you will work with patients to assess their needs and develop a therapeutic program tailored to their requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop a therapeutic program
  • Execute a program targeted toward patient requirements
  • Keep current on communal and therapeutic resources available to best help patients
  • Document patient progress during activities
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Recreational Therapist within the last 36 months
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
