Position Summary: The Industrial Maintenance Technician is essential for providing technical assistance within the Maintenance department. This role involves troubleshooting complex maintenance challenges and ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment. Collaboration and effective communication with various departments are key components of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical Systems: Evaluate and repair mechanical systems, address breakdowns, and identify potential future issues.
  • Electrical Systems: Assess and rectify electrical systems, troubleshoot failures, and pinpoint areas of concern.
  • Equipment Installation: Safely manage the installation and relocation of machinery, ensuring optimal functionality in production areas.
  • Pneumatic and Hydraulic Systems: Analyze and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems, addressing breakdowns and future concerns.
  • CNC Equipment: Troubleshoot and maintain CNC and pneumatic equipment on production lines, including the setup of new machinery.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Familiarity with servo drives, motors, software-controlled CNC machinery, and PLCs.
  • Proficient in the safe use and handling of tools and equipment.
  • Basic understanding of mathematical concepts including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and geometry.

Work Environment: The role is situated within a manufacturing facility, characterized by operational machinery and varying temperatures. Employees are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary. Physical demands may include standing, walking, lifting, and various manual tasks.
