Position Overview

This is a Full-Time role requiring 40 hours per week.

Job Purpose

The Overnight Custodian is tasked with maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of all facility areas to promote a positive experience for members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive cleaning and sanitization of restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, and gym floors.
  • Ensure locker rooms are stocked with necessary supplies and paper products.
  • Notify the Club Manager of any damaged or missing amenities or equipment, including toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, and gym apparatus.
  • Adhere to the 'Lost and Found Policy' by promptly returning lost member items to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager.
Qualifications
  • Prior custodial experience is advantageous.
  • Dependability and punctuality are essential.
  • Ability to work during the overnight shift is required.
  • Integrity and a strong work ethic are necessary.
  • Capability to independently resolve issues.
  • Exhibit professionalism in all interactions, using appropriate language and behavior.
  • A High School diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.
  • Frequent reaching with hands, fingers, and arms is necessary.
  • Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching may be required.
  • Ability to lift items weighing over 80 pounds occasionally.
  • Exposure to potentially hazardous chemicals may occur.
Compensation: $17.00 per hour
