Dishware Attendant

Columbia Club, a renowned private city club, seeks an experienced Dishware Attendant to join its esteemed team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for washing all wares in a dishwashing machine or by hand according to the highest sanitation standards. Additionally, they will polish all silverware, platters, and chafing dishes, collect trash from kitchen areas, and ensure the cleanliness of the dish machine and racks.

We offer an estimated salary of $$18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on industry standards and location. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high levels of hygiene and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash all wares in a dishwashing machine or by hand according to the highest sanitation standards.
• Polish all silverware, platters, and chafing dishes.
• Collect trash from kitchen areas; empty garbage cans and wash and re-line with new bags; break down boxes and crates and remove debris.
• Examine garbage for misplaced silverware, dishes, glassware, and other reusable items.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the dish machine and racks.

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a High School diploma or general equivalence diploma (G.E.D.) and be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
