About the Job

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Job Summary

This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Radiology Technologist to work in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar environment and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Transport patients as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of personnel
  • Technical/motor skills to grasp, fine manipulate, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
  • Mental requirements to cope with frequent contact with the general public, customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure
  • Sensory requirements to effectively communicate and work in a fast-paced environment
