Healthcare Billing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Billing Specialist to join our team at Synchrony Health Services. As a Rehab Billing Associate, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing billing transactions related to rehabilitation services. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
About the Job:
The ideal candidate will have experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as NetHealth. You will utilize this system to review and verify patient demographic and insurance information, process billing transactions, generate and submit insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner, monitor claim statuses and follow up on unpaid or denied claims, resolve billing discrepancies and address any issues related to rejected claims, and collaborate with healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement.
Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
Requirements:
Education: High School / GED
Experience: 1-3 years
