Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Overnight Security Officer to join our team at The Historic Davenport Hotel, Autograph Collection. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and patrol hotel premises to prevent and detect security breaches
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed
  • Conduct thorough investigations and gather evidence to resolve security incidents
  • Collaborate with hotel staff to maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Develop and implement effective security protocols to prevent future incidents
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior security/law enforcement experience, hotel preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Read, write and speak English fluently
  • Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of emergency procedures and first aid/CPR certification preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
