Role Overview:

As a Structural Engineer, you will leverage advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Revit Structural tools to effectively convey 3-D designs to project teams, stakeholders, and construction professionals. Your expertise will be applied to a diverse range of projects, including industrial facilities, power generation plants, and food & beverage establishments such as grain and dairy processing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive engineering packages tailored for both federal and non-federal clients.
  • Engage directly with clients to provide updates on design packages through various communication channels.
  • Collaborate with internal design and engineering teams to ensure project alignment and success.
  • Take ownership of project objectives, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, each varying in complexity and duration.
  • Create detailed construction documents and establish standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct steel design and develop concrete foundations for pre-engineered structures.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a degree with a focus on Structural Engineering and have a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in facility, food/beverage, or industrial project design, preferably within an architecture and engineering firm. A current Professional Engineer (PE) license in Minnesota is required.
