Avera Queen of Peace is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and developing meaningful relationships with our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct resident care and coordinate appropriate care for patients in assigned areas.
- Follow nursing protocols in performing population and age-specific care based on assessing needs, planning care, evaluating effectiveness, supervising, and directing clinical activities.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of SD or 'multi-state privilege' to practice in SD if residing in a compact state outside of SD.
- Basic Life Support certification and NRP certification within six months of employment.
- Previous acute care experience is preferred.
- Competitive hourly rate of $46.50 per hour, dependent on experience.
