JOB SUMMARY:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurately monitor and record vital signs.
- Engage in discussions regarding health concerns.
- Conduct testing and administer injections.
- Assist with various procedures and maintain documentation.
ABOUT THE PRACTICE:
Penn State Health Medical Group Surgery Specialties is a dynamic surgical practice supported by a collaborative team. Our practice handles a high volume of services, necessitating a broad knowledge base and strong communication skills.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current licensure as a practical nurse in the state of employment or a multistate LPN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to orientation completion.
- Preferred: One year of experience in an acute or ambulatory care setting.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand and sit constantly; frequent walking.
- Capable of lifting/carrying 0-10 lbs. frequently; 11-50 lbs. occasionally.
- Able to push/pull 0-20 lbs. frequently; 21-75 lbs. occasionally.
- Must be able to climb occasionally and reach constantly.
- Proficient in using hands for simple and firm grasping.
