Job Opportunity: School-Based Mental Health Therapist

CCRES, Educational & Behavioral Health Services, is seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a school-based Mental Health Therapist, you will provide direct therapeutic interventions, treatment planning, and effective interventions to promote therapeutic recovery for students in Chester County, PA.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions
  • Design and implement effective interventions and strategies
  • Complete required documentation, including treatment and discharge plans, psycho-social history, and daily progress notes
  • Maintain close communication with student guardians to monitor and promote progress
Requirements:
  • PA licensed mental health professional (LSW, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC)
  • A Master's Degree and at least one year of experience in a CASSP system, school, or licensed mental health services agency
  • Documented training and experience in positive behavior supports, team coordination, agency collaboration, and applied and cognitive behavioral counseling
Clearances:
  • PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
  • PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
  • PA Department of Education FBI
  • TB Screening
  • Education Documentation - diploma or official transcripts from graduate program
  • Professional Liability Insurance
  • Active license through the PA Board of Medicine in one of the following areas: LSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC
