Job Title: Commercial HVAC Service Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Ace Hardware Home Services. As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our commercial customers, ensuring their HVAC systems are running efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert-level service and repair of commercial HVAC systems, including traditional forced-air systems, steam, and hot water-based systems, oil, high velocity, ductless, and more.
  • Maintain accurate logs of all work performed and required truck inventory necessary to complete all flat-rate repairs.
  • Educate and inform customers on improvements to the comfort, efficiency, or safety of their commercial spaces.
  • Assist in the development of junior service technicians.
  • Follow all companywide systems and administrative details as they relate to the service department.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of HVAC experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC industry best practices and building codes.
  • EPA Universal Certification.
  • Valid Driver's License and Clean MVR.

Physical Requirements:
  • Physically able to work on HVAC units - Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders.
  • Ability to work outside; exposed to heat and cold.
  • Ability to hear and speak to exchange information.
