Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director - Business Operations to lead our business office team at Gateway Post Acute. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the office, managing staff, and ensuring the efficient processing of administrative tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the business office staff, including disciplinary measures as needed
  • Maintain accurate census and report status changes
  • Assist with Medi Cal or Medicaid authorizations and applications
  • Prepare TARS as needed and track redeterminations
  • Participate in billing and payment processes
  • Undertake collection activity for bad debts
  • Complete operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of skilled nursing billing and payment
  • Proficient in Microsoft products and computer skills
  • Preferable one year experience in a long term care facility
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience working with children and adolescents preferred
