Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Therapist to join our Rehabilitation Services team at Ascension Via Christi in Wichita, Kansas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate shift operations, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of therapy services.
  • Provide technical and functional guidance to staff, promoting excellence in patient care and outcomes.
  • Assign, monitor, and review work progress, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Oversee and evaluate the orientation and training of assigned associates, contributing to their professional growth and development.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
  • Rehab Therapist licensure or certification from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts, depending on specialization (Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy).
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, or Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience, or 5 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in hospital acute care settings is highly desirable.
