Job Summary:
SSM Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Cath Lab. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to adult patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab, ensuring that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner.
- Coordinate and implement care plans, ensuring that patients receive the best possible outcomes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care.
- Provide education to patients and families based on assessed needs, documenting education provided and keeping them informed of tests and treatments.
- Assist families to the cardiology area or Cath lab area by escorting when necessary.
- Perform point of care testing according to policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA).
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA).
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration.
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA).
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN).
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA).
